Born and studied in Athens. In 1991 she completed her BA in Nursing and graduated from Sophie Katsouli’s Further Vocational Professional School of Dance Teachers. Teaching dance since 1990, while upgraded, by the Ministry of Culture, to Qualified Register Tutor for the practical core module of Contemporary dance and the theoretical core module of Methodology of Teaching Classical Balletfor the years 1997-2004.
In October 2015 she completed her MSc Dance Science studies at the University of Wolverhampton with Distinction. She holds the title of the Professor de BarreAstié since August 2017. In January 2019 she finished the post-graduation programme “Exercise for Health: Group and PersonalTraining” at University of Thessaly. Additionally, she is an Assessor of the ISTD for all the modules of the Teaching Certificate programmes of DDE. Finally, she is a Register Provider for the International organisation SiDI, providing a series of educational courses for dance educators, dancers, students based on the Safe dance practice and Wellbeing of Dancers, supporting the achievement of the organisation’s Certificates.She collaborates with the Approved Dance Centre of FokasEvagelinos since 2005, as an Approved Tutor for the Modules of the Educational programme for Dance Teachers of the ISTD.
